Having moved into the forest, Gon munches on a variety of fruits and asks his follower if he wants some. Using his tongue to take one, Meleoron asks why Gon trusted him so quickly. Gon says he was not sure why he was being followed, and since Meleoron swore he was not tricking him, he could trust him easily — he simply did not distrust him.
