Leol defiantly tells Morel he will get no turns — the waves will swallow him up. Smiling, Morel says he has learned three things: Leol's Nen somehow lets her use others' abilities; her headphones are either a lucky charm or a receiver for orders; and a third point he keeps to himself. The elevator rises, and Palm begins her reconnaissance mission.
