Gon keeps shouting at Pitou, but the Chimera Ant has heard none of it — every thought is spent on finding a solution and carrying out the King's orders. Pitou tells themself they must protect Komugi at any cost, and Killua notices there is no readiness to fight — they are leaving themself defenseless. The truth behind it is not fair: the King became who he is because of her, and if she dies, he ceases to be himself.
