In Yorknew City, Kurapika arrives at the Nostrade mansion, having been referred by the Sengi Guild, and waits in a parlor with several other summoned guests. His mind returns to the Sengi agent's odd surprise that he was still alive — and to Melody, the young girl whose body he came to reclaim. Their host is the figure known as the Flesh Collector.
