The broker Zepile exposes the wooden-vault swindle to the two boys and asks for twenty percent of whatever they sell it for. Gon is fine with the deal, but Killua flatly refuses — they cannot afford to part with a single Jenny. He offers lunch instead, and Zepile accepts, happily, leaving the boys to face the auction on their own.
