Hisoka works through the fogged swamp, thinning the field and declaring that in the First Phase his word is the rule. After dispatching several weaker examinees with cards and poison, he turns his attention on Gon and Kurapika — then, at the last moment, spares them. He tells the two that their game is far from over before vanishing into the mist.
