A train climbs the mountain track. Morel asks Knov whether bringing the boys along breaks their promise to Netero, and Knov replies that the selection was to send candidates to NGL — they are now bound for East Gorteau, so no promise is broken. The matchups are set: Gon and Killua against Neferpitou, Knuckle and Shoot against Menthuthuyoupi, Knov's pair against Shaiapouf — and Netero versus Meruem.
