Alone in the empty throne room, Pouf dances around trapped in Morel's smoke, belittling himself for failing to protect the King, even for not knowing where he is. He tries to stay convinced the King would never go to help Komugi — and knows it is true, tears streaming down his face. Elsewhere, Gon reads the trap for what it is, and on a roof Netero points the way: toward Neferpitou.
